The 2023 Arizona Physiological Society's 16th Annual Meeting will be held at Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona on October 27-28, 2023.

Registration for the meeting is now OPEN!
Meeting Registration will be closed on October 20th.
There are two options for attending the meeting:
Presenter - you're submitting an abstract for poster and/or oral presentation consideration
Attendee only - if you're not submitting an abstract
The fees below incorporate your yearly membership dues along with the costs to cover the meeting (meals provided include dinner on Friday, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday; open bar on Friday night):
Faculty: $100
Postdoc/Research Associate/Research Staff: $50
Graduate/Medical Students: $40
Undergraduate Students: $20

Abstract Information
All abstracts will be considered as submissions for a poster. The Program Committee will subsequently select abstracts for oral presentations.

Oral & Poster Presentation & Award Selections
In October, those authors selected for an oral presentation will be notified via email.
Prize money has been set aside for awards that will be given for best oral presentations/posters. We are impressed year after year with the quality of our members' work and look forward to seeing what will be presented at the upcoming meeting!
Special Travel Awards
The AZPS also provides two Graduate Student Travel Awards to attend the American Physiology Summit in April 4–7, 2024 in Long Beach, California.

Abstract guidelines
Prepare your abstract in Word or a text file. Copy and paste the body of your abstract into the appropriate field in the registration form. Abstracts should not exceed 2,300 characters (excluding spaces).
Please organize your abstract in the following manner:
Do NOT use subtitles (e.g. methods, results, etc)
Statement of the purpose of the study (one sentence if possible)
Statement of the methods and materials used
Summary of the results with sufficient detail to support the conclusions
Full statement of the conclusions reached - it is NOT sufficient to state, "The results will be discussed".
POSTER GUIDELINES
Do NOT include the abstract on your poster
Maximum Dimensions (horizontal orientation): 36” x 48”
Keep text to a minimum - try to illustrate the story of your project
